The development of children's scientific enquiry through practical learning plays an important role at Holy Trinity.

Children are encouraged to ask questions about the world around them and use the skills of observation, prediction, planning, communicating and interpreting information to learn and discover.

We aim for our children to have a greater understanding of the world through the sciences and we want them to develop a sense of excitement and curiosity about natural phenomena.

Topics are revisited throughout their time in the primary sector in order to deepen children's understanding and enable a greater independence in their investigation.
