Primary School Wraparound Care Playworker

We are offering the chance to be part of a relatively new team (provision launched in September 2019), working with delightful children in our school community. Your role would be to support children to access quality wraparound care provision. You would be confident in working with children, planning and leading activities and enjoy working in a team. You would be someone who is flexible and creative to adapt to children’s interests, able to follow policy and ensure children are safe at all times.

Hours: Breakfast Club (7:15–9am) and after school care (3:00-6.30pm) (27.5 hours per week)

Rate: S3 grade £18,013-£18,957 FTE

Midday Supervisor

Holy Trinity is a popular thriving school with a friendly staff and a positive work environment. Standards of achievement are high, our children are well-behaved and staff enjoy working at Holy Trinity, with its calm and happy Christian ethos.

We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and enthusiastic midday supervisor to join our school to help provide our pupils with a safe and happy lunchtime experience.

Responsibilities include supervision of children both in the dining hall and outside areas, developing the children’s level of independence, encouraging purposeful play, and closely monitoring the welfare and safety of pupils. Your duties will include:

  •  The care and supervision of pupils during the lunch break in the dining hall and outside areas
  •  Encouraging good behaviour, table manners and social skills •
  • Initiate games and activities whilst maintaining supervision of a zone •
  • Assist with tidying the site at the end of each lunchtime •
  • Providing first aid where appropriate We can offer you a supportive, friendly and professional environment to work in.

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: Surrey Pay Grade PS1/2 (£17,833 pro-rata per annum)

Hours: We are looking to employ two people to work Monday – Friday 12.00 - 1.00 and a possibility of a third job working Monday, Thursday and Friday 12.00 – 1.00. This is for 37.4 weeks per year.

Previous experience would be an advantage, but training will be given. You will be expected to complete an Enhanced DBS application prior to starting and you will also receive training in safeguarding, first aid, positive play & behaviour management.
