We are so lucky to have such amazing facilities at Holy Trinity and our vast site isn’t easy to maintain. This bi-annual event is a great way to get to know others in the school whilst helping out.
On Saturday 14 October parents, children, staff and governors came armed with secateurs, shed paint brushes, garden forks, spades, rakes and wheelbarrows to tidy up key areas: sensory garden, willow dome, flower beds, pond, sheds and patio.
Although we were a small team this time, it was quality not quantity and we had a very productive morning. Small numbers meant there were plenty of bacon and omelette rolls to go round along with tea, coffee and biscuits which I am sure enabled us to keep going until noon.
Thank you to everyone who gave up their Saturday morning, the beautiful autumnal weather along with great company helped us to make a big difference. Thank you.
Next Ground Force late February 2018.
