Safeguarding

The governing body of Holy Trinity CofE Primary School takes its responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children seriously; and to work together to support those children who are suffering harm. We aim to provide an environment in which children and young people feel safe, secure, valued and respected, feel confident and know how to approach adults if they are in difficulties, believing they will be effectively listened to.

The Designated Safeguarding Leader (DSL) is Mrs C Taylor (Inclusion Leader)

The Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leaders (DDSL) are: Mrs Ambrose (Head of School) and Mr Hills (Executive Headteacher)

Nominated Governors for Safeguarding & Child Protection are: Mrs G Kemp (Governor) and Miss Martin (Governor) All members of staff and volunteers are provided with child protection awareness information and training. All staff are aware of their duty to raise concerns and must follow the school’s Whistleblowing Policy.

If you have any concerns about safeguarding, whether it be for a child or a member of staff then please do speak to a member of the safeguarding team.
