Year 5

  • Net and wall games – to develop range and consistency of skill learned and be able to send and receive a ball and return under control from a range of angles.
  • Invasion and target skills (ball handling games) – have the ability to select and apply skills more consistently to specific invasion games.
  • Apply skills to invasion games, know and apply basic tactics and strategies for attacking play and be able to evaluate their own and others' work.
  • Develop a range of bowling, striking and fielding skills and experience all roles in small sided games.

Translating ideas from the stimulus of WWII dance we can compare, develop and adapt movement and motifs to create longer dances.

 

Vary dynamics and develop actions as part of a group when learning maypole dancing

Show poise, control and co-ordination ensuring the chosen moves would be appropriate to Tudor Times
