Shropshire 2016 Day 2

Despite some light showers we've had a great day at the Black Country Museum and were able to dodge them by being underground in the mine or in canal tunnels!
Visiting reconstructed  houses and the old fashioned shops like the chemist,  ironmongers really brought the period alive with so many Victorian characters telling us about their lives.
The children loved the school and we may consider bringing back some ideas! Going down the mine was thrilling as was having a ride on a tram.
It's been a long day and I know we'll all sleep well tonight! All wide awake tucking into our full English breakfast. Rooms are ready for inspection then we're off to the Black Country Museum. Although overcast there is a hint of sunshine peeping through the clouds.

Our cows next door seem to be interested in us!
